How to save image or flash files from any web page

Convert Pagemaker to PDF files with Acrobat Distiller

Easy Method to Create PDF files in Pagemaker via Acrobat Distiller.

First download this file (Adobe Postscript Printer Driver Software),

Extract two rar files and install Postscript Printer Software & Acrobat distiller

Now open your Pagemaker file

Click on Print (CTRL+P),  On Printer Name Option:- Select printer Name = Acrobat Distiller on C:\Documents and settings......

Then hit Print, (Select corrent place to save pdf file).

Or

Go to printer Settings, Go to Acrobat Distiller Printer, Right click, click printing preferences, unmark Do not send fonts to Distiller, OK

Now Open your Pagemaker file,   Go to File Menu, Export, Acrobat PDF (or) go to Standard bar, click on adobe pdf icon

Click on Export....(Save your PDF file)

This method using on all windows documents to convert pdf (e.g. MS-Excel, MS-Word, and many more)

Folder lock without any software

Hide your Files / Folders without any software:

first download this file & unrar,

Then open, u got a notepad file.

and replace your password on 23rd line instead of-   type your password here    place
now save as, give the file name as   -   locker.bat.
In save as type option - select all files
u can view a file - msdos batch file -  like lock icon
double click that,
u can find a folder named - locker,
copy your files into that locker folder,
now double click locker.bat file, it as - are u sure want to u lock the folder(Y/N)
now type-  y   and enter
so your locker folder is hide,
when you need that folder - double click on locker.bat -  it ask enter password to unlock folder- now u enter ur password

and click enter

thats all you can view your locker folder and see your files inside that....

dont forget-  hide locker.bat file

HIDE YOUR DISK DRIVE

open control  panel  ---    go to administrative tools  ----   click computer management -----

now a window will appear

click disk management on  the left column now u will see  all disk drives

suppose u have to hide  local disk E  --   right click on local disk E  and choose"change drive  letter and paths"

now a small  window will appear showing  ur letter"E"click remove and   then ok…

open my computer u will not  see local disk E

to bring back  repeat the above steps but  when u open disk  management the drive that is  hidden will b without any   letter  

right click on it and  choose"change drive  letter and paths" ----
press add and than ok….

Run Mobile Java Application On Computer

Download   and Run   MPowerPlayer   for All OS!

Note: Only MIDP/j2me programs are allowed to run with these programs.
Your mobile programs must to be have *.jar extension.
For example MIG33.jar , asphalt_3_3d.jar etc.
If you don’t see jar extension on your PC, then go to tools > folder options > view. In view tab you will see many options marked or unmarked.
Look for the option “hide extensions for known file types”. 
Unmark it. Then click OK.
Now you will able to see your all files extensions.

Remove Page Info From Printed Pages (Web)

Firefox

From the menu in the top left corner of your browser, choose “File”    --à   “Page setup..” --à  Go to the second tab called “Margins & Header / Footer”,

in the drop down lists choose “Blank” for all the items you don’t want printed.

If you want, you can also adjust the print margins here as well, Firefox’s default margins are set at 0.5 inches.

Once you have your setting chosen, click “OK”

Internet Explorer 7

By default there’s a small image of a printer, click that and go to “Page Setup…” 

à   Go to “File”, “Page Setup…”

à  Erase the text in the “Headers and Footers text boxes.

Your favorite menu just got better at dealing with your Favorites. This shortcut will let you cut through the maze of folders on your Windows XP machine running Windows Explorer. Note: This tip applies to both Windows XP Professional and Home.
Similar to Internet Explorer, the Favorites menu in Windows XP appears in Windows Explorer. This makes it easy for you to access the Internet from within Windows Explorer. However, it really serves no other purpose in Windows Explorer—even though it has the potential to do so much more.
You can make hard disk and network navigation much easier and more efficient if you use the Favorites menu as a place to keep shortcuts to deeply nested folders on your hard disk, as well as to network drives you access frequently. Doing so just takes a bit of rethinking about how you use and organize the Favorites menu.

Here's how.
1.  Press [Windows]R to access the Run dialog box, type Favorites in the Open text box, and click OK to         open the Favorites folder in Windows Explorer.
2.  Use the Make A New Folder command in the File And Folder Tasks pane to create three new folders, naming them Internet, Local Folders, and Network Folders.
3.  Move all of your Internet links, except the folder titled Links, into the newly created Internet folder.
4.  Navigate to some of the deeply nested folders on your hard disk that you access frequently and use the Add To Favorites command on the Favorites menu to create links in the Local Folders folder.
5.  Navigate to some of the network shares that you access frequently and use the Add To Favorites command to create links in the Network Folders folder.

Now, when you're in Windows Explorer you can use the Local Folders and Network Folders shortcuts on the Favorites menu to make quick work of your regular hard disk and network navigation.

How to Create PDF Files Using MS-Office: SaveAsPDFandXPS

Top Five Tips To Improve System Speed

1.     Delete the temporary internet files regularly.

2.   Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.

3.   When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.

4.   Refresh the desktop after closing any application. This will remove any unused files from the RAM.

5.    Empty the recycle bin regularly. The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.
